BigStuf Internship Begins Today!

Well, to be honest, it began yesterday for me. About 10:00pm last night I just couldn’t take it anymore and had to go see the interns already in town. So I drove over to Logan’s house at got there about 10:45-ish. I met Shane, Evan, Logan, Bri D. (Diggers), and Alyson! Woo-hoo! So we hung out for awhile and then it was time to head to the airport to pick up Zack at around midnight!

We were a lively bunch waiting at the top of the escalator for Zack to come up, but he decided to find another route instead of the main exit and surprised us. His luggage got left in Miami, which is funny because every year an intern loses their bag somehow. Luckily, Zack’s bag will be arriving here sometime in the next hour (I am at the BigStuf house).

Anyways, I am so excited for this summer. Some people have asked what I think about doing this a second time. My response, “This year is so different and the team is totally different than last year, so I feel like this is a whole new internship experience for me.” I really do feel like very little will be the same as last year. So many new elements, people, characters, media, design, ect. And I made the decision to not compare things to last summer or really place any expectations. I want to take each day given and live it to the fullest. My hope is to follow God, allow Him to lead, because frankly if I try to lead anything or take control, I screw up things badly:

May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
– 2 Thessalonians 3:5

So may my heart by led by God today, tomorrow, and forever… SUMMER 2010 HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!
